DEVELOPMENT OF HANDOUT MATERIAL FOOD SYSTEM DESIGN IN
HUMAN INTEGRATED WITH ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

ABSTACT
The study of Natural Sciences in MTs, which is still separate from other subjects,
especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI), requires appropriate learning approaches
such as integrated learning and helps learners to converge into more meaningful
knowledge. The result of preliminary observation shows that there is no integrated
learning materials between learning science and PAI, so it needs to be developed, one of
them in the form of handout. The purpose of this research is to develop handout of food
digestion system metabolism in human integrated PAI which is feasible, effective and
practical used in learning. Research is done by Research and Development (R & D), 4D
(Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). Define Stage: generate the concept /
material developed on the handout. Design: generate draft handout. Develop: Generate
Handout eligibility. Disseminate: Packaging and publication of handouts. The research
instruments used are validation sheet, observation sheet, questionnaire, learning result test
and learning device. Data analysis was done by qualitative descriptive technique. The
results obtained are the feasibility of handouts for learning scored an average of 89.38% of
material experts, media experts and practitioners. The conclusion of the research is
handout worthy to be used as a companion of textbook in integrated learning material of
food digestion system in humans with PAI.
